Originally a duo, HOLZLI (pronounced holes-lee) formed in 2018 when Daniel Robinson (vocals/guitar) met Tommy Vodka (vocals/bass) at Rutgers University.  In 2022 Sal Carollo (drums) joined to complete the lineup and transform the group into a power trio.

The band draws influences from a wide range of genres, pulling from classic rockstars such as Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie, alternative heavy hitters like Soundgarden, Incubus, and St. Vincent, and R&B legend Bill Withers to name a few.  

HOLZLi has made a name for themselves performing all over the tri-state area, most notably headlining the legendary Stone Pony in February of 2023.  

HOLZLIi writes, produces, and occasionally records their own music.
