The new favorite band coming from the Jersey music scene is HOLZLI (pronounced holes-lee).  

Originally a duo, the band formed in 2018 when Daniel Robinson (vocals/guitar) met Tommy Vodka (vocals/bass) while attending Rutgers University.  In 2022 Sal Carollo (drums) joined to

complete the lineup and transform the group into a power trio.

The band draws influences from a wide range of genres, pulling from classic rock stars such as Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie, alternative heavy hitters like Soundgarden, Incubus, and St. Vincent, and R&B legend Bill Withers to name a few.  

HOLZLi has made a name for themselves performing all over the tri-state area, most notably headlining the legendary Stone Pony in February of 2023.  The band has also performed at Debonair Music Hall, Pianos in NYC, and are frequent guests of the Mayor’s Summer Concert Series in Rahway NJ, where the band is from.
